Sunday Update

Happy Sunday,

It's gonna be close to 90 degrees today. We went from the 50's to 80's in less the 4 days. It was so nice to be outside yesterday.

We are going to Disney in June and I wanted to start making my son and nieces autograph books. Here is the front cover of Ethan's. However this might change a 1000 times before we leave. I haven't started on the inside, but as I complete them I will post them on my blog.

To make the cover I used Mickey Fonts (cricut), some DCWV Chipboard for the covers, and the bind-it-all machine.

In celebration of hitting 15,000 views, leave a comment and I'll pick a winner to some fabulous blog candy. Drawing will be held on Monday evening April 27th.

Birthday PillowBox

I was watching TV the other day and for some reason I decided to run to my craft room and make another pillow box, but this one's a little different. It's quilted. I punched out using 1-1/4" square punch a bunch of this double sided pattern paper. I adhered the squares to a sheet of Cardstock and ran it through the cuttlebug. I didn't think it would work and the squares would pop off, but I guess I used enough adhesive to make them stick. Now this was just messing around and I wasnt' seriuos about posting this one on my blog, but I like how it came out. The sentiment I made on the computer and printed it out on cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love Always Card and a Video

Hi All,
The sun is shining and it's going to be a beautiful day.

I normally don't do any handwriting on my cards, but I wanted to show you that even if you don't have a stamp that says what you want it to say or you don't rubber stamp at all, you can still add a sentiment.

Here's your video for today:

Supplies: Very Vanilla cardstock-stampin' up!, Black Bazzill Cardstock, Ribbon-Making memories: 5th Avenue; Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker-Stampin' Up!, SuperNove Fine Glitter-Stampin' Up!; Sweet Cuts-Stampin' Up!

Will this ever be over?

I posted last week that I've been unmounting my stamps from the wood and it's taking forever.
My plan was to do a little bit at a time, but once I started I didn't want to stop. I was trying to save all the containers from the stamps to show you just how much room I was saving by unmounting my stamps but they kept falling over and I was getting really sick of picking them up off the floor, so I trashed a few. Here is what I did save.

I'll probably be using 4 drawers (1 jetmax cube) for my Stampin' Up! stamps. You can't see my whole workspace from the picture below, but there are stamps on the left and stamps on the right. This is my primary crafting area.

And this is my computer area which is a mess too. More Stamps. Oh did I mention stamps?

So I really can't wait for this project to be done. Off to work. Have a great day.

Thursday is supposed to be a beautiful day. Sunny and 60 debgrees. I wish I wasn't working today.

I just love the Matchbox die that is in the mini catalog. It is so much fun to work with. You can use solid cardstock, designer paper, clear sheets and the matching stamp set is great too. This one is made using Tangerine Tango Designer paper, pretty in pink ribbon and cardstock, and I also used the Lovely Labels stamp set.

I really need to spend some time cleaning my office. It is a mess. I've got punches, paper, ink pads everywhere. I'm also working on updating my SU! catalog to reflect the stamp sets I own. That's a job. Hope you all have a great day.

Cuttlebug and Sixxiz XL Die

I had a few requests on how to run Stampin' Up! XL Sizzix dies through the Cuttlebug. So here it is.

Hello Friend

Hello Friend,
What a crazy weekend, it flew by. Friday I helped my brother paint 5 rooms in his house. Saturday my mom and I went to a Stamp Show, and Sunday I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned.

About the Stamp Show. I don't know if it's because I'm spoiled by the CK convention or what, but I wasn't impressed. The only thing I picked up was a Scor Pal. We were so disappointed we stopped at Michael s and ACmoore on the way home and picked up some fun stuff. Today's video shows some of that stuff, My favorite is by Memories Makers "Chloe's Closet". Isn't it cute.

Anyway here is today's video. Enjoy

Have a great day.

Hey Guess What....

It's Friday. Yeah!!!

I don't think I'll be posting tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to my brothers and helping him paint, he's been remodeling his house so he needs help painting everything from the top down. Ugh. Saturday my mom and I are heading to Allentown, Pa to visit the Heirloom Pro stamp expo. I can't wait. Sunday I'll post an update with maybe a picture of all my goodies I picked up at the expo.

Today's card is really simple. I didn't even add ribbon gasp. I used whisper white cardstock, walk in the park designer paper (mini catalog), oval all stamp set (mini catalog), large oval punch, and the new scallop oval punch (mini catalog).

Have a great weekend.
