Cri-Kits Gelly Pens~Oh-la-la

Good Monday to you all,

Wow! is all I can say. I'm so excited to show you one of the four new kits that are being released. They are by Cri-Kits and absolutely the best quality gel pen I've ever used. AMAZING!

A few things that I find to be the best about these pens is that the carrier is magnetic and holds the pen in place. It just snaps in there. SO COOL! The quality of the pens ROCK! Not one of the pens I played with skipped ink, and I played with all of them. The flow is fantastic. Each kit contains 10 pens, thats over 40 colors.

When you order you can choose kits with just the pens or with the pens and carrier. Cri-Kits are also offering a free carrier to people with competing products or previous Cricut Gelly owners.

Here is a video I did for them showing the Gelly Pens. I didn't mention in the video, but I should point out that I used a textured cardstock and not one skip of the pens.

Make sure you head over to the Cri-kits website and check these pens out, also check out their forums as well.

For their Grand Opening Cri-kits is having some great giveaways. A Gypsy, Gift Certificates to Cri-Kits, and much more.

And if you have read this whole thing. I'm giving away all 4 kits. Just comment below and I will pick 4 winners on Friday, March 26th...The kits are due to be shipping on April 6th and I will receive my kits for giveaway then.

Have a great day.

Hugs, ~C~

Craft Room Update 3/14/10

Sunday already? Man this weekend is flying...

This is the last update until the big reveal of my new Craft Room....

I'm about 90% done. I still have some organizing to do, like sorting my cardstock, pattern paper and labeling the drawers so I know where everything is.

Be sure to check in tomorrow...I'll be posting a video of my room.

Craft Room Update 3/13/10

Here is my Saturday update...

I got a lot done yesterday. You can read yesterday's post for the update on what I did and to see a picture of the room color. It's coming out really nice!

I'm off to work for a few hours this morning and then I have to run to pick up a few things. I'm hoping to get a lot more organizing done today, so keep your fingers crossed.

I won't post anymore pictures of my room until it's completely done. I hoping that is by tomorrow.

Hugs to you all,

Craft Room Update 3/12/10

11:30am Update....It's painted...I would take a picture, but I misplaced the camera in the move. I had it this morning but I can't find it now.

4:30pm Went shopping and picked up two bookcases. I finished assembling the smaller case, just waiting for Scott to bring the other one in from the car.

4:40pm Found the camera....
\

9:15pm update....Boy am I tired....The 2nd bookcase it put together and placed in it's new area. My workspace it installed, computer is re-installed, and my ribbon organizer (aka tie rack) is up. Still have tons of organizing to do and more shelving to install. Working on the closet now. Tomorrow after work I'll work more on organizing.

My room is empty. Holy Cow!

I started painting a little last night so I didn't have so much to do today. As soon as Ethan is dropped off at school I'm home to paint.

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments. I've been wanting to paint this room since the day I got full custody. I used to only have a corner then I tossed my dear hubby out. Don't worry he works at the dining room table now! LOL

Have a great Friday! and more updates tomorrow or tonight.

Craft Room Update 3/11/10

Hi All,
Here is an update on my room. Ethan and I went to Lowes last night and picked out the paint. When I told him I was going to paint my room green he decided he wanted to go shopping with me. His favorite color is green and I think he wanted to make sure I picked the right shade of green. LOL

You all know my favorite color is blue, but since I have blue carpet I didn't want to paint the walls blue too. The color we picked is called Hazy Jade. It's a really pretty shade of green. Can't wait to start painting.

Here is what I got done last night...
I took out the black shelving and moved that into my sons room. He is thrilled because now he can display his Lego buildings and has places to put his Playmobil guys. He was so excited I even got him to dust the shelves.

I took down my Jetmax (or as my mom keeps calling them Inkjets or JetPacks) section and got the walls prepped for painting in these two sections.

I have to confess I have a love for the hammer and nails. Holy cow are there a lot of holes in my walls.

Here is what a picture of the section cleared...Isn't that radiator pretty?

Can't wait until tomorrow. Painting.....

Another Thank You Card

Have you ever just felt like not using your Cricut? Yes I said it.....I just wasn't feeling it this past weekend....

Anyway here is a card that I did make...

Supplies: Kraft Cardstock (Paper Trey Ink), Berry Sorbet Satin Ribbon (Paper Trey Ink), Thank You Rub-on (Stampin' Up!), Butterfly  Punch (Martha Stewart), Scallop Punch (Fiskars), Nook and Pantry Pattern Paper (Basic Grey), Corner Rounder (Corner Chomper)

Guess what....I'm re-doing my craft room. Yep the week before Easter weekend Scott and I are going to dismantle the whole room. There will be nothing left in my space. Not even my computer. GASP! (thank goodness I have my laptop). I'm so excited! I've been wanting to re-do my room for a very long time. I've tried just moving things around, but it's just not the same. I'll post pictures of the progress...Do I really have to wait 3 more weeks?

Have a great Tuesday.

Don't forget LOST is on tonight. LOL I'm totally addicted to that show.

Hello Card

Happy Friday,

The other day I picked up my son at my mom's house after work and what does my mom have. A card I made for her birthday when I first started scrapping. Well I had to take it so I can post...

First here is a card I made this morning...

Supplies: Cricut Lyrical Letters Cartridge, Cricut Expression, Scallop Nestabilities, Summer Sunshine Paper Trey Ink Cardstock, Summer Sunshine Satin Ribbon, We R Memory Keepers "Grandma's Kitchen" pattern paper.

Now here is the card from probably that mid to late 90's. I wish I wrote on the card the year I made it. It's amazing how things change and our tools for scrapping keep us changing how we do things.

Have a great Friday and a scrappy weekend!

Child's Year Card

Happy Tuesday,

I hope you are all having a great week so far....

I took a few last night to play with A Child's Year Cricut cartridge. I think the new cartridges coming out in March has gotten me going again. Preserves looks like it will be the first one in my shopping cart. and Give a hoot looks good too and....
Oh wait I was talking about A Child's Year... I've been having a hard time deciding what to create with this cartridge. I love the images, but just don't know what to do with them....Here is one I came up with last night. As I'm typing this I'm thinking these images would look great on the wooden frames from Michael's. Maybe a project for tonight?

Supplies: Sweet Blush Paper Trey Ink Cardstock and Satin Ribbon, My Minds Eye pattern paper, Bazzill brown and off white cardstock, White Pearls from Queen and Company.

I've received some blog awards over the past few days. I just wanted to thank you all so much. How sweet you all are. I have to go back and read all the comments over the past week and make a list of the awards so I can post them all at once. I'll be working on that over the next few days.

Hugs to all of you. You are all so very very kind and sweet.
