Today we are working on Glimmer Misting. I know I said at the end of yesterday's video that I would start working on the front cover in this video, but I totally forgot about the Glimmer Mist.

I love that mat you used. I'm going to have to look at big lots to see if they have one, I have a good countertop in my scrap room that I don't want to ruin.

The clumps are the reason I don't use glimmer mist. That's a great tip with the paper towel!

I love the fact that you shop at Big Lots!!! I have bought alot of things there and love it to..Yet, feel bad sometimes that the things i buy are not always "name brand"

I was just at Big Lots, Darn! I need one of those mats and saw some on clearance today at AC's but didn't want to spend that much. Next time at Big Lots!!! Thanks for that tip!

i have never used glimmer mist as i have read many posts that talk about the clumping on the paper, the clogging of the mister,etc. now i know how to properly use it i just might try it! the hint about the mat is useful even if i am embossing as i went to the dollar store and got silicone trivet but i really need something bigger!

Great video - I didn't think to heat set my glimmer mist after spraying. I just let it dry naturally. It still turned out beautiful. There are so many great colors.

Oven mat? As in the mat you can leave on the bottom of your oven to catch spills? Great idea!

I am loving these videos! Thanks so much for doing them. I really learn a lot and enjoy your blog. Oh yes I learned why my cutting mat has a big wave in it. Oops the heat gun got too close. Oh well it was old. It might be time for a new one.
