Just a quick update and maybe a finished project later today.
Sorry I know I haven't posted since Sunday....I had some personal stuff going on the beginning half of this week and just wasn't much up to crafting...All is well now....
A few weeks ago I did a tutorial on how to make flowers with distress inks and glimmer mist...If you missed it...check it out HERE...you can see all of my flower tutorials under "Video Series" located up top on the navigation bar...
I had tons of emails on where to find the pearls that I used....They are from Walmart. My friend Teri is the one who turned me on to these beads and I just love them. You can find them in the beading craft section. They are a little expensive, but you get tons. As a matter of fact I gave 1/2 the container to my mom when I got them and I still have some left.
Here is a picture of the beads so you know what to look for... I've used them on flowers, stick pins, and even made some dangly beady things for my mini albums....
Have a great day and hopefully I'll be back later tonight with a finished project...Hugs

Hey Christina. I watched your flower tutorials and I loved those beads! You said on one of your videos that you got them at Walmart (so off to walmart I went). My Walmart does not carry them, and I was unable to find them on their online store too. I was able to find them online at Joanns. They sell each color separately for $2.99, I think it was. So for your viewers that can't find them at their local Walmart, the online Joanns store is another option.
I'm going to have to check my Walmart out for these little guys.♥
The container was sllightly different, but my WM had these and I picked them up just to do your flowers from the tutorial... as you stated they are perfect for many applications. Thanks Christina!
Thanks for all your help .. and thank to scrapping Stepanie for another location for the pearls.

I've watched your flower tutorials and enjoyed seeing how you make these. I need to sit down and give it a try. You also mentioned in one video you'd do a tutorial on making your stick pins (with the glass pearl beads). I hope you can do this one soon.

I bought mine at Walmart. LOVE THEM. Thanks Christina ;)
Love, love your turorials. I haven't checked at my WM, but was at JoAnn's the other day and lucked out to find their pearls on sale for .25 a sack, all different sizes. Needless to say I scarfed them up! They are white and cream and I can always color them with alcohol inks to any color I want. Thank you for teaching me so much.
