Playing with my Copic markers

So after having these markers for over a year, I thought it was time to start playing. I downloaded some images from The Greeting Farm (thanks Arlene for the tip) to play with while I wait for my order from 7 kids College Fund. I messed up a little on her foot, but otherwise I don't think it came out too bad...

I order more markers last night from Carpe Diem, so I'll really be playing soon...I especially need the blender pen for when I make a boo boo :)

Here are the markers I used...(all Sketch)

Off to work on a few videos....Hope you are having a great weekend...

Your color choices were so beautiful I really like the skin-tone. It is a beautiful image.

You did a great job coloring. You are correct about the blending pen. You can do so much with one. You can make texture by spraying the blending pen refill on denim and pressing it on something you colored. I love my Copic markers, can you tell?? I would have never notice the foot if you didn't point it out. I love the way you colored the hair.

You did great. Once you start playing with them you will get hooked. I'm off tomorrow to a certification class for Copics, I'm so excited!

Love the card...the colors blended beautifully. I too have been trying to accumulate a Copic collection, but I really need so many more colors. What do you recommend to start with?

I love my copics too, but I can't do anything close to what you've done on that image... and, forget the blender pen... I just screw everything up with it.

Nice image, and good job.
I don't have these and I don't think I will get the markers. I will leave the colouring to the professionals, teehee.
