Paper Trey Ink Hip Hip Hooray

Hip Hip Hooray it's Monday.....What? Monday? What a nice weekend. Saturday I stayed home and hung out with Scott and Ethan and yesterday I worked in the afternoon and then went to my niece's 17th birthday party. Had such a great time hanging with my two older nephews and all of my family.

Last night I made this card, just to play with my new Paper Trey Ink stuff. I only have a few PTI inks, but I think I'm gonna have to start a collection....

I'm loving October Afternoon, I ordered mine from BlueMoonScrapbooking, but it's kinda an older pad so it's a little hard to find. I did link below to other October Afternoon products at BlueMoonScrapbooking.

Here's todays video

supplies: October Afternoon Fly a kite 8x8 pad, Paper Trey Ink Labels #3 stamp and die set, Paper Trey Ink Hawaiian Breeze and Vintage Cream Cardstock, Paper Trey Ink Hawaiian Breeze Stitched Ribbon, Paper Trey Ink Hawaiian Breeze and Orange Zest Ink

and we can't forget a picture of today's card...

Pink Paislee Mini Album

Hi Everyone,
Last weekend when my mojo returned I was feeling a mini album coming on....

I used the Pink Paislee 365 degree papers to cover the pages of the alum. It measures about 3 1/2 x 4 inches and I had so much fun making it. It didn't take long at all to put together. I tried to leave lots of space for pictures.
Anyway here are a few pictures.

Have a great day...

Monday Mojo-Video

Happy Monday,
I'm so happy to report my crafty mojo has made a return this past weekend. Woot! Woot!

Check out this new set from The Cutting Cafe'. I'm in love with the Welcome Home set....As soon as I saw this set, I thought....Bright Bold Colors. Out came my Echo Park, Walk in the Park paper collection.

I was watching a video by OkieLadyBug this weekend. She did a little sewing tutorial and since I'm terrible at sewing I decided to practice. Check out Okie's video here. I'm really really pleased on how straight I sewed on today's card.

Fabulous Friday with a video

Hi Everyone....
How about a fabulous Friday project? I finished organizing my room and that has made me feel so much better. I can see my work area again and I have room to move....The only thing left to do is ribbon. I need to clear out an entire drawer of ribbon and get them organized. Right now I can't even close the drawer....

Here is today's video using the Cricut Lite Bloom cartridge. I used my Gypsy to weld the image together and make a shape card. I did a video before on how to weld you can check that out here....

Supplies:
Cricut Expression, Cricut Gypsy, Cricut Lite Bloom Cartridge, Dark Chocolate Paper Trey Ink Cardstock, K&Co Roam Pattern Paper, Glossy Accents, Ribbon, ATG Gun, Glue Dots.

OK Who Took It? and a video

OK Who took my mojo? Really It's missing in action.....

My crafting mojo might be temporarily misplaced, but I found my cleaning mojo. Yesterday when I got home from work, I totally ripped everything out of my craftroom closet and I do mean everything. I even took out the little shelves that where attached to the wall.
I wonder why I kept so much unusable junk in there?

Here's what it looked like after I emptied it. The shelves on the right are now out and the case on the left is gone. Hanging on the wall is one of two clear shoe bag organizer filled with punches.

What I did was moved all of my Jetmax cubes into the closet and only kept out the paper cubes. I still have lots of organizing and sorting to do. Had a lot of you ask to post pic's of my Ikea desk.  I'll share it all when I'm done.

For something else to share. Here is a video I did for Scrapbookpal.com. I just never got it loaded to my YouTube channel. Enjoy...

Thanks everyone who suggested to turn my paper storage cubes sideways. It worked perfectly.

Have a great Wednesday and I'll be back tomorrow with a Cricut video (if I can find my desk to film)...

Hugs,

Tuesday Tips~Ink Storage

Happy Tuesday....

WOW! We just hit 1500 followers.....We'll be at 2000 before we know it....I'll have to start thinking of another My Favorite Things Giveaway, like we did when we hit 1000.....

Last Friday you all had such wonderful tips to share....

What do you think about making this a weekly share? I'll come up with the topic and you all share your ideas. I so enjoyed reading all of your comments and storage ideas. If there is anything in particular you would like to learn about or hear what others do just send me an email or click on the Contact Me button on the top of this page. I'll start making a list of topics....

My tip for today is....Ink Storage

I have two systems. The first is for my Stampin' Up! ink....
I purchased this carousel a while ago from Stampin' Up! and love storing my SU inks and refills in it. However I've never had it actually spin smoothly. I think I need to oil up the bottom spinny thingy (thats the technical term lol).

For my Tim Holtz Distress inks, Paper Trey Ink and Chalk inks I use this wall mounted storage system from Organize More. The one I have hold 80 ink pads, but they have many other styles. They also carry other types of storage systems as well (Ribbon, Stamp, Cricut etc).

Hope you have a great Tuesday....

Don't forget you can still comment on yesterday post for the Cutting Cafe' giveaway....Hugs

Layout~Whimsical Wednesday

Happy Wednesday....
WOW! You all had some great 12x12 cardstock storage ideas for me yesterday. I decided before I try anything new that I'm going to turn my cubes sideways and have my cardstock standing up. However some of my paper slots are kinda empty.....guess I need to go shopping...lol. Thanks everyone, I love hearing your ideas and tips too....

Now for today's project. This is one page to a double page layout that I'm working on. I have to order some more of Basic Grey's Oliver paper. I only ordered one of the laser cut sheets and the 6x6 pad with some of the embellies, so I just need another 12x12 sheet for the other page..."Birthday Blow-Out" was cut using the Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge......

Supplies:
Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge

12x12 Cardstock~Tuesday Tips

Today's Tuesday Tips is more of a plea for HELP!

Right now I keep all my 12x12 cardstock and pattern paper that is not a part of a collection on my Jetmax cubes and I hate it.....Here is why....I have two or three shelves that keep collapsing. So what do you use?

What I would really love to have are the kind of shelving that you would find at scrap stores, but they are way to expensive for me....I had a tall black wire thing from Michael's (or was is ACMoore) and that wasn't very stable on my carpeting....

Now for my collections...Whenever I order a collection or particular paper line I keep them in this large basket, that I've had forever.

Loose paper, brads, mini pads etc all go in one of these clear 12x12 envelopes that I get from the dollar store.

I try to keep the most recent collections in the front of the basket. As I use the collections I will either move it to the back or take it out of the envelope and move it to my regular shelving/storage.

So does anyone have any good storage solutions for my 12x12 cardstock? I'm very happy with my collection storage and just the JetMax cubes that I'm looking to do something with....

HERE is a link to last weeks 8-1/2 x 11 storage tip...

Time for fun~Monday Mojo

I hope everyone had a great weekend.....

Here's a card I made using the Bingo Card Set from The Cutting Cafe'.

You know I'm addicted to pattern paper and I needed to incorporate it somehow in my card. So I took a piece of old K&Co. valentine paper that I had in my stash, cut it down to 8-1/2 x 11 and printed out the Bingo Card. The bingo card fits perfectly on a standard A2 size card.

Here is today's video:
