Stamp Storage and Copic Coloring

Hi Everyone,
I've been going through some of my stamps and organizing them. I had about 50 CD cases of the $1 clear stamps that I've had forever and needed to do something with since I'm running out of room on my CD rack. I was surfing YouTube for some ideas and found THIS. SOOOO I spent some time organizing and moved the $1 stamps to binders. I'm actually thinking about getting everything in binders now....I'll post more when I'm done....

While I was working on my stamps I felt the need to play with my Copic's. Here is a video of some coloring. Nothing special just a quick video....

Have a great day....

  1. Hi Christina!

This is super adorable! Don't you just love to color, it relaxes me I can't afford Copics but I use color pencils and Gamsol. I just love to get lost and the effect on stamped images.

A few posts ago I mentioned that I keep my stamps in binder and I love it this way!! I use unmounted stamps and there is a product I purchased at a stamp show that make them sticky enough that they don't fall out of the binder. How cool you will see now how easy it is to look through them and choose quickly the images your looking for. A tip is I stamp the image on a white copier paper then when its time to put them back I know exactly where they go (and my little one can help too.

    ((NY hugs))

    Great videos!

  3. Enjoyed your video. I have been practicing all these techniques. I really should break down and take a class or two. But first I have to add to my collection. This video was helpful.

  5. How cool! I am doing the same thing! I just bought a laminator! So, I am useing it with good card stock. Then 3 punch hole it and u have storage for your stamps! I have sooo many Unity stamps and they don't fit into the cd cases very well,so this is a good thing for me. I also laminated the sheet that I get with my kit so I have what they all look like... I thought I was the only one that had to find another way to store stamps..lol good to know! Thanks, can't wait to see your finished product! Hugs, Denise

  6. Hi Christina

I always enjoy your videos. Regarding the stamp storage. I tried the DVD cases but it was too much work especially when you get a whole kid from Peacy Keen you have 10 DVD cases for 1 kit. I saw that video a while back and decided to use the binder method also. I store them by category, however I do store the Peachy Keen all together.

  7. I love the look of Copics but it seems you would need 3 of each color in order to have nice shading and that is way too much $ for me to spend right now! Nice job coloring, you always do such cute projects!
