Hi All,
As requested here is a two part video on how to make the Tim Holtz grunge flower. I love making these flowers. The center does take a little practice, but once you have the hang of it you will be fine. Have fun and happy crafting.

Sweet Treats Video Series #3
Happy Wednesday....
Today we are using the tag function key on the Cricut Cartridge Sweet Treats.
Here is a really simple tag you can make for Valentine's Day...
Enjoy....
This will be the last video in the Sweet Treats Series. I know I promised 4 videos for each series, but I have several projects I need to get done this week and weekend. I'll post pictures of the projects I'm working on as they are completed.

Wedding Mini Album
Hi Everyone,
I've been married almost 14 years and I still have not scrapped any of our wedding. I think about two weeks ago I was playing with K&Co. Black and Ivory paper collection and thought it would make for a beautiful wedding album. So finally after all this time I'm gonna scrap my wedding.
I wanted to make a video and did last night, but it just wasn't meant to be. I couldn't think while I was taping. It was really bad.
So the next best thing is pictures...
I used the "top note" chipboard shape album from Michael's. You can find them on the dollar section.

My Pink Stamper CHA Projects
Guess what....Robyn "My Pink Stamper" debuted her two brand new stamp sets yesterday at CHA. Robyn asked me if I would be interesting in trying out the stamps and making a few projects for her CHA booth. I've known about these stamps for some time now and I wanted to spill the beans. Thank goodness she also asked my sweet friend Teri to help out as well. Otherwise I don't know if I would have been able to keep the secret. Once your done visiting here, head on over to Teri's blog and check out what she made. I have some serious mini album envy....She's got me hooked on making minis too.
Those of you who follow Robyn know how much she loves to stamp and you know that she would only use the best stamping materials out there for her stamps. They are amazing.
Here is what I made....I hope you like them. Lots of pictures to show...
Here is my first project...This is a wooden frame that I painted off white and then traced, cut, and distressed the polka dot pattern paper by Cosmo Cricket. I also used UTEE on some Prima flowers and added a tag that I stamped from Robyn's collection. The I love You is also from the collection as well.

Project #2: is a card I made...you know I can't go without making some cards. I used white cardstock for the base of the card and brown Bazzill cardstock that I embossed using my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. the pattern paper is by K&Co. I added some really cute gauze ribbon that I had in my collection as well as this really cute metal heart from Making Memories. The scalloped heart is from the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut Cartridge. I added two of Robyn's stamps to the scallop heart. I love this card....
Project 3: Is a clipboard that I covered with K& Co. paper. I stamped the butterfly from Robyn's set and cut it out. Then I used UTEE to give it that glassy look. The flowers are Prima that I glimmer misted and added a button. What isn't shown here is the cute little stack of papers that I stamped with the butterfly image.
Project 4: You know I had to make a Wild Card as one of my projects. I simply love the cupcake card. I've done a video on this HERE as a part of the Wild Card Series. This time I added the Happy Birthday stamp from Robyn's stamps.
Project 5: For this project I used one of those band aid tins you can find at your local scrapbook store. I covered it with Comso Cricket pattern paper and then used Robyn's stamps to make coordinating tags.
Project 6: This is a flap card that I made using the "Thank You" stamp and a "Flower" stamp that is also included in one of the set. I added some Prima Bling to the center of the flower for a little added something.
Project 7 and 8: I did a double page layout for these two projects. I used a Martha Stewart around the page punch for the photo mat section. On one page I did the whole mat and the other just the corners. I used Cricut Cartridge, Accent Essentials to cut the flowers in three sizes then wrinkled and distressed them. The tags are Robyn's stamps that are all being held together with a brad.

Birthday Card
Can you believe this card has nothing Cricut......
This is a quick birthday card I made for my borther-in-law.
One of the hardest cards for me to make are masculine. I struggle with cards for men all the time. I think this card is great for either a man or women. It's a little Kristina Werner inspired. I love her videos.
The picture doesn't do the card justice. I had a hard time getting a good angle that would pick up the stamped image.
The stamp is from a Birthday Sentiments collection by Inkadinkado. I think I got mine at Michaels. I embossed the candle with clear embossing powder to give it that watermark look. Don't ya just love the "Earth love" paper collection by Cosmo Cricket, the colors are my favorites.
Enjoy!

Paisley Series Update
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to give you an update on the Paisley series. First HERE is a link to all the Paisley projects I've done so far. My favorite is the letters. I had a lot of fun making those.
I have one more video to do and I may get it done this morning and posted later today.
I know I originally said I would have a layout video for each series, but I'm finding it hard to make a page using a specific cartridge. What I'm thinking of doing is making layout videos in between series. This way I can use more than one cartridge and focus on the picture and what elements I will need to complete the page. Oh and I'm also thinking of going to 12x12 pages:)
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

Paisley Video Series #3-Valentine Treat Bag
Happy Monday,
WOW! did that weekend go by fast or what?
So I used this video as an opportunity to get ahead for Valentine's day and decide what I'm going to do for my son and his class friends.
Here is the video for today: Sorry that there are a few spots that get a little blurry. My still camera has HD video and the color quality over the Flip Mino HD is much better. Just got to work on the blur.
Supplies: Cricut Expression, Cricut Cartridge Paisley, Cricut Cartridge Storybook, Bazzill Cardstock, Stapler, Treat Bags (3 3/4x6) Stampin Up: "Happy Heart" stamp set, Riding Hood Red Classic Ink, Riding Hood Red Ribbon and some treats of course.

Paisley Project #2-"Home Decor"
Yesterday I started this really cute project that I found on Custom Crops You Tube channel.
I used the paisley on page 64 of the Paisley Cartridge. I love love love how this came out.
First I painted the letters with acrylic paint and then traced the letters on 4 different pattern papers. I then cut and distressed the letters using my Tim Holtz distressing tool. After I adhered the paper to the letters I then used Tim Holtz Distressed ink (frayed burlap) to ink the edges.
This is a close up of the paisley I cut. I used all the papers I picked for the letters to make the layers. Love It!
Have a great Sunday!

My Weekend Paisley Project
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a great weekend. I thought I would post what I'm working on this weekend.
Right before Christmas Custom Crops had this great video on using letters to make a really cute "home" decor project for Christmas. I thought I would give it a try as an everyday decoration and use the Paisley Cartridge.
So here is a picture of my first steps. I'm painting the letters using acrylic paint (I found the letters at Joann's).
I'll be back with updates....
If you want to see the video on how to make these click HERE for part 1 and HERE for part 2.
Enjoy!

Paisley Video Series #2-Card/Tab
Happy Thursday!
Here is #2 in the Paisley Cartridge series. Today we are working on the card/tab function key. I had fun making this card and I really like how it came out.
I learned something new. Remember how I said in the basic video that we would work on that one card on page 64. You know the one I said was my favorite paisley....Well it's not a card. it's an envelope. hehehehe

Paisley project #1
I will admit I was a little confused by the card/tab function key. It took me a while and I did a little searching and checking on Provo's YouTube channel to figure it out. Here is the link to the video. When you watch the video, down in the lower left corner you'll see the cards. I'll demo them in a video this week.
Here is my first project:

Here is my first project:
I cut the card/tab from page 46 of the manual at 4 1/5 in. using 6x11 inch cardstock. I used the shift key to create the striped scallop and then popped it off the front of the card with some dimensionals. I cut brown Bazzill cardstock to fit the window and adhered it to the inside of the card. It made a nice mat for the inside message. For a little bit of an added touch, I also added some linen thread and tied a bow around the frame.
The owl is from page 42 of the manual and is cut at 2 1/4 in. I used ivory (off white) Bazzill cardstock for the base of the owl and then pattern paper (Cosmo Cricut) for the owl's body. I then cut out all the layer 1 images and the flower from the layer 2 key. I added a little bling to the flower :)

for the inside of the card.... I added some ivory cardstock to the brown that was used over the window and added a panel to the other side as well. I then cut the flower (2 in.) using the button key on page 42.
Supplies: Cricut Expression, Paisley Cartridge, New Leaf Paper Trey Ink Cardstock, Bazzill Brown and Ivory Cardstock, Cosmo Cricut Girl Friday & Everafter Pattern Paper Pack, Recollections Bling, Linen Thread Paper Trey Ink.
