Songbird Card-Video
Today is my baby boy's birthday!
Happy Birthday Buddy!
I can't believe he is 8 years old already.
It's day two of snow. It started yesterday morning at 4:30 am and it's still going this morning. We have almost 9 inches of snow and the drifting is amazing.
Here is a quick video using the Cricut Songbird Cartridge. I needed some bright pretty spring colors to help kill my cabin fever.
supplies: PTI white cardstock, Bazzil brown cardstock, PTI Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon, Daisy Bucket pattern paper, Cricut Songbird cartridge.

Picture Frame
I started making this frame just for fun. It's one of those $1.00 wooden frames you can find at Michael's.
I painted the frame with a off-white acrylic paint then layered Bazzil cardstock with some My Minds Eye pattern paper. I did a zig zag stitch around the outside and inside of the pattern paper. I really really love how it came out.
I cannot stop making these flowers. I wanted to show you a close-up of the flower so you can see the "Diamond Dust" I added. Diamond Dust can be found at Michael's in the adhesive aisles. Have you seen the Prima flowers at Michael's that have the water drop look? Well this is what you use. Just think off all the flowers you can make...If you haven't seen my video on how to make these flowers click HERE
Have a great Wednesday!

Tea Pot Mini
Hi All,
I'm working on a tea pot mini album for a family friend. The mini shape is a chipboard album from Michael's that you can find in the dollar bins. I've heard that some are finding them for $.50.
My method for covering the mini is to cut out a piece of designer paper that would be large enough to cover the mini. I glue my pattern paper to the chipboard and then use an x-acto knife to trim the edges. You could also trace the shape onto your pattern paper, trim, then glue. I find for me it's better to use the x-acto knife. I'm not good with scissors. LOL
Don't ya just love that little flower. No it's not a Prima. I made it. I'll be back this weekend with a video on how to make this flower. It's super easy...

Stamp Storage
Update with more info:
I ordered mine from www.clipitup.com they have them on sale for $39 until the end of Feb. Shipping is a little high...
Tonight I decided to order the top tier and www.scrapbookingalley.com has the system. The price is a little higher, but if you factor in no sales tax and flat rate shipping of $4.95 it's cheaper (thank you Arlene). If you order don't forget to pick up Glimmer Mist. LOL
So stamp storage has always been an issue for me. When I was a Stampin' Up! hobby demonstrator I collected several (more then several) sets of stamps. Storage was a real issue then, those boxes took up so much room. So I unmounted my SU stamps from the wood and used the EZ Mount foam. I moved all my stamps to CD cases (including the clear). Yeah, not liking that system either. I can't find a stamp for anything and this included having a binder system, It's really just too much work for me. I have such limited time to create that I didn't keep up with updating the binder.
So here is my solution!
The Clip It Up! I've only gotten my clear stamps that I still had in the original packages up so far. I'm working on taking my other clear stamps out of the CD cases and sticking them to acetate sheets and then I'll store them in ziplock bags so I can hang them up.
So far I think I may have more than 50 sets of stamps clipped.
Umm and I think I'm gonna need to order the top tier so I can keep going.

It's cleaned and organized...
Well I certainly opened up a can of worms when I decided to clean my room. It turned into a two day organizing project. I know it looked cleaned when you checked yesterday's pictures, but I did a little cleaning before I took the pictures.
I did get lots done. All of my Prima's are now kept in nice containers. Cardstock and Pattern paper have been organized (arranged my company). All of my collections are together and stored separately and I finally found a better home for my Sizzix dies.
Here are a few pictures. Sorry I'm not the best at taking pictures of my room....

Ribbon storage: binder clips and a few cheap tie racks
Paper storage: Cropper Hopper 12x12 organizers.
Prima and buttons:
You can't see the Prima's, but the are stored in the two metal boxes
buttons: $1 glass jars from Michael's
Workspace under my button and prima shelves

Gotta love Glimmer Mist.......

Punch Storage:
Not the best picture and not certainly not all of my punches...
Sizzix Storage:
That's all for now....

Umm I think it might be time to clean....
I'm gonna be brave here and post a picture of my craft room in it's current state. It was much much worse last night. Yikes.
As soon as I finish up a little package I'm putting together for a friend I'm gonna clean and organize and make sense of this mess. I'll post a picture or video when I'm done.
Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Saturday....

Happy Friday
Hi All,
Well I'm finally done with the basket for my Aunt's church. I really love how it came out and I hope it does good at the auction.
I included in the basket a set of the "Home" decor letters that I made a few weeks ago. I had fun making another set of these (Click HERE to see picture). Also in the basket is the Family mini that I showed you a few days ago as well as a set of notecards.

Family Mini
Hi All,
I finished another mini last night. This one is for an auction my Aunt is having at her church this coming weekend.
I've been working on a few projects for a basket, so I've been super busy.
Here are a few pictures.
Here is the front cover. To see the video on how to make this flower click HERE.

I love Prima flowers. The one on the left side I found on clearance at Michael's. The right hand page has the Stampin' Up! petal sizzix die as an envelope and two tags behind it. Fun stuff.
Arlene did this great video tutorial (mybutterflykisses12) on how to make a flip out page. Really something like this looks so complicated to me, but once you see the video you will be surprised on how easy it is.
This is one of my favorite pages. My friend Teri sent me some Prima lace and since I don't have the Stampin' Up! scallop envelope die she punched me a whole punch of envies. I took one and distressed it with walnut stain ink and added a tag to the inside.

Have a great day...
