Happy Wednesday,
We're working on our 3rd video for the Life's a Party cartridge and we'll be making the really cool map on page 44 of the manual. I had some technical difficulties when I was filming the first 1/2 of the video and it wasn't until I edited the video late last night that I notice what I did....Yep I was totally off screen, but only at first...lol
So here is our video for today. I think the map is going to make an awesome door hanging for Ethan's party and I can then use it later in a layout. I'm thinking about adding ETHAN'S on a separate piece of decorated chipboard and then hanging the map off that to put on the door. This was it would say Ethan's Pirate Party...ARRR matey ye know what I mean...lol I couldn't resist....
The Series:
Video #1
Video #2
I should have one more video for this series at the end of the week. Have a great day...

You edit very well - great video. I like how you put adhesive on your pirate party title holding it with your tweezers - I always have trouble doing that - i'm so going to use this technique.
ReplyDeleteAdorable Christina! I am sure Ethan LOVES it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing

Hi - so glad to find your Life's a Party series... I purchased this cartridge and dreamed of all the stuff I would make for my little girl's party but I am also new to Cricut in general. I am a little frustrated because I never know how to cut things to be the size I need/want. Would love it if you could do a tutorial on some of the other 3d cutouts - like one of the glasses, cupcake wrappers and crown and explain how you go about figuring out what size to cut things...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much in advance!
This map is so cool! Ethan and his friends will love it. I love the idea of using it for a layout after the party! TFS
ReplyDeleteThis map is great, love how nicely it came out and that looks a perfect size for a door sign.
