WOE! WOW! wOW! love it! Mini album within a mini album, very clever!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I don't know how you feel about showing your album with pictures in but I was wondering if when the album is finished if you would show it with pictures too. Thats another part, I'm not quite sure how things go because these albums are so mini. Thanks! I look forward to your videos so much. Thanks for sharing your talent with me.
ReplyDeletecute, cute cute! great idea making the little book with the cut from ff, it's one of my favorite carts for mini albums.

Christina,
ReplyDeleteI am ready to jump in and make one!!
BUT, for my idea, I will need to "custom" cut my chipboard, since I am doing a 'stairstep" style, with each page being a little longer than the last.
I know my little paper trimmer won't cut chipboard, and I am trying to avoid using a craft knife. It hurts my finger to cut through thick stuff.
SO, what kind of trimmer do you recommend for cutting chipboard? I can't tell what kind yours is from the video. What kind do you have and do you know other people who have other brands they like for this purpose as well?
Also would you consider making a printed list of supplies for each video? So I don't have to watch it over and over to take notes?
Cannot wait to see the next installment on Friday!!
Thanks
Rhonda H
It is looking great...I love the colors!

I also would like to see the finished product with pictures. I get confused on how to add the pictures. How would you put the picture on the page with "Boys" phrase...wouldn't the picture cover it or would you cut the picture. I would think that you add the ribbon and words after you put the picture on. I always get confused because I see layouts without pictures and can't figure out how to do it....maybe because I am a newbie. I love all of your work and can't wait till the next video!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Christina!! Interaction within the book is wonderful. I'm jioning in but a lil different. THANKS for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteVery Cute....you make it look so easy to put together. I guess the biggest thing to do is get all supplies handy in one place. This mini album is turning out really neat.
ReplyDeleteChristina,
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I am enjoying this series. I buy stuff thinking I am going to make a mini album but NEVER do. I think I feel that it has to be perfect and I can't plan each page in advance. It's nice seeing you work through the entire process and I, like others, would love to see it with the photos in it. Maybe next time you can a film the process of making a girlie one? I think my friends would love an album.
Hi Christina,
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting this mini album series together!! I'm really enjoying it. I really like watching how you embellish your pages...embellishing is my favourite part!! =) Your mini is looking great!! Can't wait for the 4th video!!

As usual, wonderful work. But I am surprised with all the stuff you have you don't use a Xyron for all the matting and ribbon adhering, etc., especially putting a mat over ribbon. I have 4 of them - use them all. But I love what you're doing here.
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinkin cute, I just LOVE it :) I can't wait to get home and start working on one! (I just watched these videos at work, shhh...)
