CWC (8/1/11) Cricut Project Flower Shoppe

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.
I did a little shopping with my mom on Friday and we stopped at Joann's. I was so happy to see they had the Cricut Projects Cartridge "Flower Shoppe". This cartridge came out a few weeks ago with a Hello Thursday release. I absolutely love this cartridge.
Today I thought I would share with you how to make a few of the flowers from this cartridge.

Have a great day...

Thank you, tank you, thank you so much for this video. I have this cart & absolutely love it!!! I have been asking for anyone to do a video on this cart - just o get other perspectives &no one is doing them.
Another good way to roll them (even the larger ones) is to use tweezer bees. I make the larger ones & roll them really tight so that they make their own center too.
TY,
Lori

Your video made assembling the flowers so clear. What speed and pressure do you use for cutting the flowers as the cuts seem very intricate?

Oh no I just might have to go out and buy this cart. These flowers are adorable! Thanks for the tutorial.

Gotta have it. It looks great for flowers, butI was hopeing PC would come up with a spiral cut. Think it would be great to hang party decorations. What do you think?

You have always made the prettiest flowers. I learned how to make roses from you a long time ago and have never forgotten your instructions. Now you've talked me into buying the new Cricut flower cart! I can hardly wait to try it.

@Nancy
Hi Nancy,
I used a textured cardstock at speed medium and pressure/blade high. Hope that helps. Christina

Oh fun! You can make flowers for your son's teacher. She will love them. Now need to water. The water wont spill and they will last all year. I would have loved those flowers when I was teaching. Another great video. Thanks Christina!

Great Video! Love this cartridge! I love the pillow on the cricut website they made with this cartridge. Do they give the instructions on how to make it in the instruction booklet? If not, do you know how to make it? I like the hairpins they made too!

That was a great tutorial on how to make the flowers. I just bought the cartridge today, and now I can't wait to get home to start trying it out.

Gail said... Reply to comment

Hi Christina
I love your videos. Can we have one on the pop up neighborhood cart or everyday pop up cart? I love the flower video. I got the cart yesterday and had to come back to your site for the tutorial.
Thanks so much. The only thing is using water will ruin the ink if you print it out on the imagine. Never tied that but just gluing it the ink came off.

This tutorial was so helpful! I just got this cartridge yesterday and tried working with but when the flower cuped up I couldn't figure it out. The water tip is very helpful.
