Stocking Mouse

 Happy Monday everyone :)
I hope you all had a great weekend? We took Ethan to see Puss and Boots Saturday night. It was a blast, what a cute movie. My favorite part was when Puss and Kitty had a dance off. Kitty does a dance called "the litter box" way funny!

I was in the mood to play with my Copic Markers and came across this adorable stamp called "Christmas Stocking" I had from last Christmas. I kept the card really simple in design and added some twine with a red button to finish it off.
Still playing with Authentique's Wonder paper pad too :)

Here is a close-up of my Copic coloring. I need more practice on shading...
and look I forgot to color his cute little button nose :)

A lot of you ask what the little stand is I use to hold my cards in the photos. It's called a "floral frog" and you can find them at Michaels. I found mine in the aisle with the floral arrangement supplies.

That's all for today.
Enjoy the day :)
Hugs

  8. I really like the coloring. I am trying to do that more. I tried the diff inks, but I mess it up, figured watercolor coloring was better. Is that watercolor? either way I love it.

  9. What a cute adorable stamp and card. I found my card holder like yours at Joann's; called a "frog pin" in the floral section. Thanks for the tip. Smooches... Felicia

  13. Do you have any good tips on shading with markers? I have all these cute stamps that I have collected over the years but I don't like it after I color them in. Any tips or videos would be great. :) Thanks!!! Very cute card!
