Hi Everyone,
I've been wanting for a long time to find a storage solution for my PTI dies.
Since PTI started making dies I started ordering and I absolutely love them.
Here is a video of what I came up with that I hope helps you too.

  1. omg...I never even thought to print the images off the websites to make the catalogs...lol I can't even tell you how much time I spent (wasted) recently stamping the images. And, I love how you have the Papertrey Ink catalog set up!! It's amazing how much organization goes into this crafting. Sometimes I don't know what I do more of, crafting or organizing. I know the main part of the problem for me was not having some type of system set up when I started out a couple/few years ago. I spent a good deal of time during the months last year getting my act together with organizing. I realized it was a problem when I started buying stuff I already had.

  2. I just organized my stamps and dies this weekend. I used the same binder, I found some in the clearance section for $2.50, at Staples. They are Orange . I covered the spine with some DCWV paper. For my PTI dies, I bought the inserts that are a velcro pocket for $0.99. I only have a few dies from them and the pocket holds 5 or 6 die sets depending on the size. I plan on labeling the outside of day pocket with the die contents. This works well for a small collection. Love the magnet idea, looks great for a large collection!

  7. Thank you for sharing. I'm curious about what factors influence your decision about whether to use a die or your Cricut to cut shapes.

  15. This is a great idea. I have been trying to figure this out. I bought these magnetic sheets at a hardware store. They are to cover heat vents. It works good by I put it in something not so good. A binder would be better. Thats Christina

  20. I stamp my rubber stamps in a book as I get them. New things are not put away until they are inventoried. I like the images off the website idea better. How did you copy them to print out?

  27. That is some good thinking on your part. Love the storage idea. I too have tried several different storage ideas for different items, one of them being my paper stacks. I have soooooo much paper and need something light weight and strong to bring to crops. I think Jo-Anns has what I want I just have to wait for a real good sale now. Thanks for the tip.

  30. I've been looking for a better solution for my dies! THANK YOU!
I am just using a CD storage box and placing the dies into cases right now. This maybe the way for me to go.
Would you suggest the same for storing Nestabilities?

  31. I love this idea! Maybe when I come home from a crop next weekend I can try to better organize my craft room. I have the Spellbinders Grand Caliber machine and some dies that I currently store in dvd cases purchased from Stampin Up! and AMuse Studio, I used magnetic sheets I found at Hobby Lobby. They are in the hobby section, it seems to work out o.k.

  32. Thanks for sharing! I do a similar binder system for my QuicKutz dies but I use plastic sheets for slides. They fit the 2 x 2 dies perfectly. Then I have larger pockets for larger dies. Thank you for sharing your stamp catalogue too. I will print out my stamps from now on! I didn't think of that either, LOL!!

  35. What a great idea! I have seen others but nothing hit me like this one. I already got the whole sheet protectors, and the 4 X 6 at Staples today. They didn't have the business card ones but it looks like Office Max does. I haven't been able to find the Martha Stewart binder yet. Did you get that at Staples also? Thanks so much! Can't wait to empty all my little bags into this system.

  36. This is just what I've been looking for. Great idea. But my problem is how time consuming it is to grab the pictures and copy and paste everything and get rid of all of the extrainious stuff. Do you have any tips for that? Thanks for any advice, like how to size them to fit the pockets. Did you set up a grid and just plug them in or just print everything and cut out what you own?
