Some random stuff (new chair, Project Life, October afternoon)

Hi Everyone,
Today I just have some random stuff to share...Like a new chair. With my back going out and all I had to get a new one. I don't know if the little time I spend in the other wood stool did it or not, but I didn't want to take any chances. I picked up this awesome new stool (with a back) from Pier 1.

This is a counterstool and not a barstool so it's not as high and a barstool would be. I also purchased a really cute striped cushion that has crochet flowers where the buttons would have been (sorry they don't have that one online :(

Project Life update. I've been plugging away and loving every minute of Project Life. Just documenting all the things that mean so much. For example last night Ethan and I went shopping for treat bag goodies to give to the kids that attend his party on Friday. Snapped a quick picture with my cell phone of him picking out the treats for the bags so I can document it.

Amazon did get in stock some of the sold out items that I've been wanting.
I picked up the A sheet protectors (they didn't have them when I originally ordered my kit), the Scrapbook Dividers, and the 6x12 Pages. (click images below for links)

I also picked up the 12x12 paper collection that goes with the Clementine Kit.

October Afternoon...You know I'm totally obsessed with OA. Yes I admit it I'm obsessed...
Look what I found over on their blog....Sneak Peeks to upcoming releases. sssssqqqqquuuuueeeeeaaaaaalllll!
I know I'm a little behind as they where announced back in late Janary. I want them all :)

That's all I have for today. I hope you have a great day....

Glad you're feeling better and it sounds like Ethan is, too. Love the stool...that is really great looking!
I am not doing the Project Life (well, at least not this year!) but I am delving into that sort of hybrid scrapping using the We R Memory Keepers page protectors like you are showing in your photo above. I'm hoping it "simplifies" my scrapping a little bit!
Thanks, again, for all the ideas!

So glad you are doing better, I just purchased from Amazon the core kit of the colbalt project life edition. I also purchased the binder and page protectors and card stock of the same edition. I know I'm late but I will try to catch up, I really want to do it for this year even though I have aton of other projects in the works. Thanks for all your inspiration

I love that Woodland Park line. So cute! I'm boycotting Amazon right now because they sell whale meat of endangered species. So until that stops, I'm going to have to find other places to spend my money. Thanks!

As an older senior I can tell you that you were smart to get rid of that backless chair. I had two back surgeries in one year and using a good chair to craft is the wise way to go. I use a regular padded office chair with rollers and a pillow to lean against and it's the way to go. The bad part is I'm so comfortable I fall asleep! Could be the age!! LOL!

Your new chair does look more comfortable. I have looked into the project life idea and I really need to do it. I Have been scrapping pages in albums with 4 x 6 photo spots for as while now. I make page toppers for one or more of the photo spota and put photos in the others. Thought I could organize some of my pages and later turn them into 12 x 12 pages.

I totally love that you put on your blog the toolsthat you use and I really love that chair. I am looking for a chair also, have not found the exact one that will fit in my room yet, but white is my color and I like the design. I will have to check it out. And of course OA is one of my favorite card stock also. Thanks for sharing, it gives me more creative ideas.
