It's Friday!!! Yahoooo!!!!
Today's card is a really super simple thank you card that I'm making for Ethan to send to his grandparents, aunts, & uncles who where at his birthday party last weekend. You can dress this up more with bakers twine and some faux stitching with a white gel pen. I have a few of these to make so I didn't want to make the process too long.

Such a cute card. I like the MS stamp press too. Lucky you, because coupons from M's here exclude all MS crafts (& all Cricut products too). Maybe it's a NY thing, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteCan you do a quick video on how to use Pinterest? I must have goofed when signing up there. Have a great day, Christina.
"keeping it simple" - embossing to me is not simple - you crack me up! Love the card! Simple to me would have been cutting out an image on your cameo or cricut and stamping with white ink the thank you. You add just the right touches to make a "simple" card look so nice!
ReplyDeleteSweet little card! Really like that stamp set and die...will have to look for it!
ReplyDeleteAnd...how great is that little MS stamp press?! I have the 2 Fiskars ones and they are wonderful but smaller one for little stamps would be a perfect addition. I will have to be on the hunt for that!
Have a great weekend!
Super Cute! I'm liking the MS stamp press! I think I need to locate one here in my neck of the woods. Thanks for all the tips and tricks!

What a cute thank you card. An all boy card. I see a trip to Joann's is in my shopping run for today. I have the Fiskars stamp mount too but like you said sometimes it is just too big.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina,
ReplyDeleteLoved simple card!!!
Best weekend!!!
I have to ask...what are you using to store your twine!?!
ReplyDeleteIt's just perfect . I love it
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. I'm going to have to stop watching your videos. Everytime I watch them I see something else that I want to buy!!! Just kidding, I wouldn't stop watching! That little airplane is so adorable. I really like your simple card. I've been thinking about getting the Fiskar's stamp thingy, but now I'll look for the MS one. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove this card. I really like how you embossed the airplane - really brought it to life and I would have never thought of that. I just bought a Fiskar's stamp thingy because of you, now I'm off to find Martha's. You are such an enabler!
ReplyDeleteI tried buying that little airplane when it first came out but they were always out of it. Now that you've refreshed my mind I'm going to have to look for it again. How cool is the MS stamp press. I've never seen it, so now I'm heading off to find it at Joann's. I love Stamping Friday's!
ReplyDeleteNice and simple card that can be whipped up in no time. I like the tip from Jennifer McQuire to use a post it to temporarily hold your smaller images while you heat emboss them. Saves the fingers from getting toasted!

I love, love, love the inspiration you give me. You make everything look so darn easy and so pretty. I can't even ink without making a mess. I love all the supplies you use from your own stamps and dye cuts to the paper you use. Thanks for all the videos that are fun to watch and helpful to learn from.
ReplyDeleteAnother great card video. I think simple is elegant.
