Todays gloomy weather inspired my card. I think my card looks more colorful and cheery than what it looks like out my window...
I picked these colors because I've been wanting to really test out the new ink formula by Paper Tray Ink. My main concern was getting a solid stamped image and I have to say I'm pretty happy with their new formula. I think I might invest in a few more...
I also discovered I had this Lawn Fawn stamp set for a while now that I didn't use...gasp!!!
I loved the umbrella so to make it pop off the card more I added some faux stitching and glossy accents.
I think I'm going to work on a little Project Life now. I'm staying pretty up to date and trying not to fall behind to much. I'm afraid if I do I'll get discouraged and never complete my album.
Have a great evening everyone :)
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteLove the raindrop background.
ReplyDeleteWell I would think that an April Showers card would be all gloomy looking but yours is bright and cheery. Very cute.
