Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend....We've been so much enjoying our trips to the lake, this weekend it was a rainy one but we still had a great time. Yesterday I made sure to squeeze in a little crafting time too.
Today's video is an update/share of project life. As you read last week I was in a little bit of a slump but after sitting and making some journaling cards, purchasing the new pages that came out, and well just relaxing this weekend I feel so much better.
Hi Everyone,
Thanks so much for your words of encouragement the other day when I was feeling a little funky. I think I was just overwhelmed with work this week...Which also means no Stampin' On Friday video. Besides I couldn't find the top of my desk if you paid me...lol
First I wanted to let you know that the new Project Life pages are out and the Core Kits have returned...I'm in love with Cherry :)
Okay now on to my layout...
This is going to be the first page in my album for New York City.
The "vacation" and "documented" are from the Studio Calico "Adventure stamp set...which I don't think is available anymore. I hate that they retire them so fast...
This last picture is of my title...I used an older Sizzix Die set called Doodle Block that Teri got me turned on to. I found it on Ebay for only $6.99 (Score!)
I hope you all have a great day and that I find my desk today. hehe
Hugs and happy crafting,
Hi Everyone,
I just want to thank you all for the helpful tips on how to pack scrap supplies for on-the-go crafting. I took a lot of your advise and used that to pack...unfortunately I never got to use it. Scott had a computer emergency at work and we had to cut out trip short :( But I did come home to start working on a layout and did a little blog lift too.
Here is my latest Paper Trey Ink order along with a quick tutorial at the end :)
Enjoy

Now run out and buy some foam and make your own foam thickers with all the alphabet dies you have at home. You can even use the Tim Holtz alteration dies too. Have a great day, Hugs and happy crafting,
Hi Everyone,
Happy Friday :) we are heading to the lake again this weekend and I need your help...I want to pack some crafty supplies to work on in case it's raining...what do I pack? How do you plan what to take? What do you take with you? What do I put my tools in? How do you pack your paper? Do you make kits? I've only ever scrapped at home so I'm totally clueless when it comes to packing for scrapping on the go...HELP!!!!
Here we go with today's Stampin' on Friday video. Enjoy :)

Here's a picture of the finished card...Honestly the pink on the lemonade doesn't look that bright in person. Just the photo :(
Thanks everyone in advance for your helpful tips on what to pack for scrapping on the go :)
I'll be back tomorrow with a haul video (or two).
Hugs and happy crafting,
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a wonderful week. It's been hot hot hot here...
I love the new Desktop File stamp set by Paper Trey Ink. I love the idea of keeping track of products, sketches and more in one location. I think this will work perfectly for me.
It's a rolodex system...
Paper Trey Ink came out with this set last month and I'm having so much fun working on it.
The past two weeks I've been getting myself more organized at work, home, and in my craft room. Now I know what you are thinking...Christina you're always organizing your craft room but really I mean more along the lines of keeping track of products and projects. I think this file is going to do the trick.
It's still a work in progress, I've gotten two sections started maybe this weekend I will work more on some dividers.
Paper Trey Ink did a video when they released this stamp set...Check it out HERE for more details on this file...
Have a great Thursday and see you back here for Stampin' On Friday :)
Hugs and happy crafting,
Hi Everyone,
Happy Friday and welcome back to another Stampin' on Friday episode...I so have been enjoying doing this series. It really gives me a chance to play with my stamps and try new things...Like a 5-1/2" square card. I've done 4-1/4" so it fits in a regular A2 envie but never anything this size. It was fun.
For those of you new to my blog every Friday I do a video featuring some sort of stamping related project. Generally it's a card but every once in a while I'll toss in something different...You can find all the Stampin' on Friday videos HERE or just click on the link up above.
Okay now let's get into that video...

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm happy to report that we are staying home and relaxing. The past few weekends it's been go go go so I'm very much looking forward to chillaxin' with my peeps.
Hugs and happy crafting :)
