Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Happy to report the new furnace is in and we are nice and toasty. Today the new dryer comes (oh yes, that broke too last weekend) and I have lots of laundry to get caught up on.
This week on my blog I thought I would share some links to some of my favorite scrapbooking products for those who are looking for some crafty gifts for your loved ones :) Just click pictures below for links to where you can order.
Today is my list of my favorite scrapbooking tools. Things I can't live without :) Okay I could live without them but I can't scrap without them :)
Martha....I love Martha....Here little precision scissors are perfect for fussy cutting and I love the 12" scor board. Martha now has a 6" scor board that I've never tried because I have the Scor Buddy. I would totally recommend a 6" scorer for you cardmakers out there. If you want to make envelopes with your cards then you will want the larger 12" board.
I have tried many many many paper trimmers. Ranging from a cheap $10 trimmer to $70 and this Fiskar trimmer is by far the best I've used. Blades do run out quickly but I'm hearing the new Titanium blades last much much longer.
Last but certainly not least is my Tim Holtz Tonic scissors. Oh my these babies are the best out there. I've cut everything from paper, ribbon, and even brad backings and they are still nice and sharp. I need more of these around my house and not just in my scraproom.
I hope you enjoyed today's post on some of my favorite scrap tools and helps with your gift giving this holiday.
Hugs and happy crafting,

Hi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips. From that list, I don’t have the Silhoutte Cameo, the Cuttlebug, but I have the Big Shot, I don’t have the Scor Buddy, but I have the 12" scor board (Martha).
Have a great week!!!
I agree with all of these items!
ReplyDeleteI love my Cricut... but I also love my Tim Holtz scissors you featured and my cuttlebug! I also love the brad pokerand use it for so much more... thanks for sharing your list of things you can't live without! Kathi
ReplyDeleteI love my Gypsy, my Cricut and my Cuttlebug. I agree with you that Martha's scor board is great and a good size. I'd love to have a Silhouette Cameo but I have lots of Cricut cartridges so I am invested in my Cricut but I'd love to be able to print an image and have it cut precisely on my machine. I really like my Glue Glider pro tape gun which is a lot smaller and a bit easier to handle than the honking ATG gun that a lot of people use. Thanks to all for their own recommendations.

I am so with you on the trimmer. I started out with the old grayish Fiskars trimmer and have tried about every other trimmer out there but am happily back with Fiskars. I need to locate some of those titanium blades.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 Expressions but am considering giving one to my daughter and maybe sell one. I have a Cameo and seem to only be using it. Love that machine and am always awed by it.
Thanks for your favorites....I pretty much use all you have listed.
I am a fan of all the things you describe but have never had a cameo. I only have a cricuit and you helped me to love mine and for that I thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the favorite things list. I have some of these and agree with you. I will have to check the others out. Thanks.. Happy Holidays
ReplyDeleteI have the Martha Stewart mini score board and you can make envelopes on the back of the board. It has the 4 bar, A2, A6, and A7 size envelopes. Thanks for sharing your list.
ReplyDeleteI love your favorites! Your amazing creations are wonderful too.
