Something I think about often is how to get more out of my products. Stamps, Papers, punches, the list goes on. See this is what happens, I'll buy a stamp set or a paper pad and do one card out of it...or I'll buy a collection kit and maybe (big maybe) I'll do a layout. So I decided it was high time to get using my stash of stuff. With that came a new idea for a series...

I'll try my very best to make sure you have advanced notice of what products I'll be using each month so that if you want to play along you can pick them up in advance. Like I said you don't have to use what I'm using to play. Pick your own products for the month :)
For the month of February we'll be using....
I'm looking forward to the Scrappin' on a Dime series and I hope you are too. Don't forget to check places like Etsy.com and Ebay for these products as well. Linked below are a few sites you can order from that I'm familiar with.
Happy crafting,
Hugs

Hi Christina :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all let me say that iam so thrilled that you decided to do this video series, i truly believe that so many of us can benefit from it and it will be so fun.
I do have a request....could you make some projects using vellum, and paper that looks like it is cut out lace, i have a lot of vellum papers with adorable prints on them and papers that look like lace and i never know how to use them. I would love if you could incorporate some of these papers into your projects...thanks Marianne:)
Great idea for a series! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to jump into this series with you. There's lots of stuff here I've used once or not at all or can't remember how to use it or why I bought it in the first place. Should be interesting, and if I think of anything to suggest you focus on, I'll email you. Thanks, Christina.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I would also like to see more ideas on making cute tags, tickets etc, i have seen the ones you have made the they take my breath away, so i would really love to see many more ideas...the one you did recently with the sun, and the clouds on the sweet blush papers was one of the cutest card/tags you have ever made so I want more!:) thank you!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! Soooo excited = )
ReplyDeleteVery good idea for a series! I have several products that I just had to have and then not done anything with them. I'm hoping your good example will encouraged me to get those things out and do something with them. LOL I am subscribed to your You Tube feed and enjoy your videos and the techniques and ideas you have in them. Thank you for sharing your creativity and talent with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be big fun and so useful! <3
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! Can't wait to follow along with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Looking forward to it! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you're doing this new series! I also follow Papertrey Ink and often order MANY of their new stamps and dies, but don't feel I get the use out of them that I should. Same with my Cricut...I have cartridges I've never used...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your inspiration and sharing your creativity!
This is a fabulous idea and I can't wait for it to start!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea!! I'll be here on Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteNoelle
Great idea!!! Can't wait until Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteJackie
This sounds like lots of fun can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of Scrappin on a Dime! I have a huge bag of paper scraps in my room and after I cleaned in there while on Christmas break I made myself a promise that I won't buy any new paper....or cut a new sheet of existing paper...until I've used up a bunch of the paper in that bag. So far I've kept my promise to myself! So I'm excited to follow along with your series and hopefully get some new ideas. I love watching your videos and I REALLY appreciate you sharing your amazing talent!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about this series! This is such a great idea and I cannot wait until next Wednesday! Thank you so much for sharing all your talents and ideas with us! Have a great day!

Great idea for a series. Can't wait to dive into my stash--maybe I will quit feeling so guilty about buying stuff if I use it!
ReplyDeleteI would also like to see more of how you finish the inside of your cards...do you stamp on them or just write in them?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea, I so can't wait. I love the stamp set you chose, even though I don't have that exact one, I do have a couple with similar images. I look forward to playing along.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with "being ready for spring"! Thank you.
What a great idea! I'm anxiously awaiting the start of this new series next week. I always look forward to your videos, and all the great products you use.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video and the new series. I'm looking forward to it. I'm on a buying diet, so I'll have to get by with the 3,000 tons of stuff that I already have! Ha, ha. I hope your weather clears up. I won't tell you about the weather here in San Diego. That would just be mean. Thanks again, Pam
ReplyDeleteWell this ought to be a lot of fun. I love my "stashes of stuff" but would like to get some ideas on using it, so I'm looking forward to your series.
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea! I sometimes get discouraged with video tutorials..always showcasing some new item that I "have" to have. It will be a good challenge to use the stuff I already have to its full potential. Thanks, Christina!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to this series. I'm guilty as charged too. I have supplies that I haven't even used and I tend to hoard my papers for whatever reason. Would love to get inspiration on using my stamp sets more as well. Thanks for taking the time to do this series and the videos.
ReplyDeleteMe Too! I can't wait for it to start. :)
DeleteToo fun!!!! This is going to be great!!! I just got done updating my stamp catalog so I could make better use of my stamps (must be something in the air. HeHe). Now I have them all cross referenced Yay! Scrapbooking is my fav, but I do cards also, so really looking forward to the LO. I love your blog you are just so sweet to teach us all the things that you do. THANK-YOU so very much!

Great Idea!!! I am going to follow along. You are so inspiring and YES I have plently of items I have not used yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Christina and although I will be tempted to run out and buy the sets and papers you are using I will resolve to using what I have on hand! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the motivation and I'll look forward to your series!
Susan
You know, you inspired me to use up my paper pads a long time ago by making mini-albums!! Also, when I make baby scrapbooks for my great niece and nephews, I try to purchase one pad to use up. This really helps. I also find that PTI stamps lend themselves to be used over and over again!!
ReplyDeleteStill envious of your space...my space is teeny tiny!! Happy scrapping--can't wait until the new series!
Really looking forward to this new series!! Thanks for taking the time to share!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the motivation to use what I have. I'll follow along but with my own products. when I look at products to purchase now am making myself look for multiple uses.
ReplyDeleteWell I totally just ordered the stuff - I really don't have that many stamp sets that are images (mostly just sentiments) and I'm still learning out to use images...so here we go! I'm so excited! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteChristina, I think this is a great idea. I, too, have stamps and paper I haven't used, and have wanted to get busy doing exactly what you have suggested. So, hopefully I can join in with you and get involved. I don't have a blog and don't usually upload, but maybe I'll start and that will keep me encouraged to continue. Thanks, and I enjoy visiting though I don't comment enough. I appreciate your time in making these videos.

I love this idea. I'm not a stamper and am currently wintering in the south without my craft supplies but I'll follow along in spirit and when I get back home, if you continue this, I'll follow in actuality.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it. I love watching your videos.
ReplyDeleteI am so loving this idea I call it shopping in my own home stash making old tool new again. I cannot wait to see your videos
ReplyDeleteI am new here. I think this is an awesome idea. I have a lot of stuff I need to use. I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteThank you
Arvita
Fabulous idea! I don't have THESE stamps but I have some similar so I will play along!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you thought of this idea! We are all in the same boat when it comes to purchasing something for a certain project and then so much of that good "stuff" remains unused! Thanks for helping us be more resourceful. I'm in!
