Project Life 2013: Organization

Hi All,
Happy Monday, hope you had a great weekend :)
Today I wanted to show you how I organized my Project Life 2013 supplies.
I really shouldn't say it's for Project Life strictly, it's more of just craft room organization.

At the beginning of the year I moved all my supplies into my Alex drawer from Ikea because I was planning on doing a very simple version of Project Life this year....Yeah I've gone crazy with it again. I do have to say it is very simple this year and seems to be coming together much easier than last year. Not as time consuming that's for sure. My mom had me pick one of these carts up for her craft room and she raved about them, so I decided I should give one a try. They are so good I bought two. You can find them at Walmart for only $17 which is pretty cheap considering I've seen them for much more than that. They also come in a frosted white drawer and a bright pink.

Thats all for today :) Have a great day
Christina

Those drawers are very cool....I will have to measure and see if they would fit under my work space.
I just sent a request to follow you on Instagram so I can see your PL progress. I'm having fun with it...first year for me to do it!

  3. Great Ideas. It is a good idea to get PL stuff organized. I tend to forget what I have or sometimes I know I have something, but it takes forever to find it. I'm going to see if my local Wal-Mart has these drawers because I like them better then the white plastic ones I have now.

  6. I think it's official, Christina, that you have more stuff than my local scrapbooking store! lol. I love those drawers. I have one with multiple drawers that I keep my stamps in - well, some of them. TFS.

  7. Christina,
If you see this post will you please respond? PLEASE!!! i went to the walmart website to try to order a couple of the 17.00 carts you have in your video, and it says that " they no longer carry that product" can you tell me if the walmart close to you still has them available, and if so where exactly it is located so I can try to purchase directly from that store? Thank you so much,")

    1. Here is a link to it at Walmart. Looks like the black one is sold out online but they still have it in white and pink. The white is very nice too. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-3-Drawer-Storage-Cart/20700502

I found it in the aisle with the storage containers at one store and my local WM had them on display in one of the center aisles by the do-it center of the store. Hope that helps. Hugs, Christina

  10. Loved your organizing tips, if you have a chance could give the measurements of the drawers, wondering if my 6x6 pads would fit or my CD cases that my stamps are stored in. Thanks again for all your videos, just love watching you create. I've ordered my first set of Papertrey Ink stamps cant wait to get them :)

    1. Hi Kelly,
The drawers are about 10x14 and 5-1/4" deep. You could put 6x6 pads in the drawers if you laid them down or at a slant so you could flip through them. CD cases will fit perfectly.

    1. Thanks Doxygirl, I went back and looked again, it shows the overall size of the unit but not the dimensions of the drawers, unless I'm missing that... just not sure if the height of each drawer is 6".... Thanks for the help, my walmart doesn't have any in stock they would have to ship-to-store which would work, I can always use storage :) even if the 6x6 pads don't fit :)
