Product Review: Embroidery Kits by Amy Tan

Hi Everyone,
I used to cross-stitch a long long time ago before I found scrapbooking and I loved it. When I saw these kits I knew I had to try them.

The capture kit is super adorable and I see lots of uses for that one. The arrows alone will be great for project life. The inspire set (Alpha) is super cute and will be fun to make personalized tags with or maybe stitching out the first letter of someones name and then using thickers to finish it off.
All in all I like these two sets. Time to dig out the old cross stitching floss and try out some other colors. I added a list of a few places you can order these from below.
Have a great day

  1. Awesome review sis. Can't wait to get shipped yesterday - WOOT WOOT!!!!! Hugs, T

  2. Very interesting. Will you be showing us a project using some of these? That would be great. I did cross-stitching and crewel stitching years ago too. Then my eyes decided it was too tedious.
Can't wait to see what you create.

  3. Have done some stitching on projects but haven't had any patterns to go by, this will be so helpful!!! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to projects using this product :)

  4. Enjoyed your review. I recently purchased them and love them! Can't wait for more templates. I also like the 3 strands of floss better. Love your videos. Thank you.

  5. What a great review. I really like the thought of adding these to Project Life. What about using the punched holes as a template and stitching them with a sewing machine? Mmmm? Fun fun.

  6. Great product review - I saw something similar to this at scrapbuck, com and wondered about it - so thanks for the demo - maybe I'll pick some up over there! Have a great day!
