Scrapbook Process: Scraptastic July Add-On

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to share one of the layouts I did using the add-on for the July Scraptastic Kit "Either Way". I'm really enjoying playing with my first kit and have already done 3 layouts...I have plenty left to do even more :) My August kit showed up last week and I'm dying to dig in...
Here is a video showing a layout of some photos of  our Disney Trip. Enjoy:

I love Kerri Bradford's photo templates for setting up multiple photos on one spread (I use Photoshop Elements for editing my photos and making the templates). Kerri also has some amazing cut files for the Cameo if you are a silhouette user. I hope you enjoyed today's video. Leave a comment below if you would like to see more scrapbook process videos:)

  1. Love what you did here. I can't seem to figure out how to use Photoshop Elements to be able to do layouts. I need to take a PE course 101 or maybe PE for Dummies. I've used Microsoft Publisher for a two-pay layout and it worked great. My challenge recently has been these pocket photo pages which I thought would be quick and easy, but they weren't. Because you have to consider the photos going on the back of the page(s) or preceding the page(s) - the orientation has to be the same. Talk about tricky! I've had to do regular scrapbook pages here and there to get everything going in order. I actually did a guest designer post about these pocket pages and learned I'm not alone.

  5. Christina, I loved this process video! I always have a hard time figuring out what to do with all the elements in the kits I get. I actually just ordered one of the Scraptastic kits to try, so this will be a huge help. I'm a little rusty on my traditional scrapbooking and never feel like I add enough layers/elements, etc. It was so helpful to watch how you place everything. Thanks again!

  6. Hi Charlotte,
I have a book here that helped me a lot when I first starting playing with PSE. It's a teach yourself visually book, I still refer to it from time to time.
