Festival of Trees and weekly updates

Hi Everyone,
Feeling under the weather the past few days..yuck :(

Before I hop into today's projects...Here is October's Hostess Code. U7X7QYJG
Use the code when ordering from my online Stampin' Up! shop and be entered to a drawing to win the Hostess Rewards for the month. I'll be posting October's giveaway tomorrow. Stay Tuned :)

I have two projects to share, both with the Festival of Trees Stamp and Punch Bundle. I listed the supplies below.
The first is a card I made using some non-traditional Christmas colors (Sahara Sand and Silver). The sequins messed with the flash on my camera and I just couldn't get the photo to come out nice and bright like it is in person.
The card is a standard A2 size card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). I stamped a few trees out with Sahara Sand ink and then stamped and punched out another tree to pop it off the card. It's hard to tell in the photo but I added some embossed ornaments on the trees with silver embossing powder and then embossed the sentiment. I matted the stamped section with Sahara Sand Cardstock that is cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and added the sequins. I went a little sequin happy :)

Next up is a tag. I kept the tag simple. I love the Tag Topper Punches for making quick tags for gifts.

To make the tag pop I folded a few of the trees in half to make them fan out.

  1. Hi Christina! Sorry to hear you're under the weather, and hope you'll feel better soon. The tree card and tag are so pretty. Love the colors that you used. Have a nice day. BethAnn M.

  2. I can see that card being easily mass produced. It's beautiful. I spent more time than I wanted just to take a photo of a card that I had shimmer and glitter on so I know what you went through. Hope you're feeling better.
