I hope you all had a great weekend. I can't believe Thanksgiving is around the corner. Have you started prepping and planning yet?
Todays video is a DIY on how to make a pressing board you can use with your Cricut Easy Press. I ordered a Steady Betty from Amazon but there was a delay for a few weeks in receiving it. I couldn't wait any longer to use the Easy Press so I found out how to make one. DIY!!!

What a great DIY Christina! I so want the Cricut Easy Press, one day maybe. I think you DIY will work out great for you and I love that you can make them different sizes. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWatching you brought my memory back to recovering my dining room chairs - rotary cutter, self-healing mat, stapler. I actually own a stapler with an air compressor (don't know the technical word for it.) I use a Corelle ceramic cutting board as a pressing board with the Easy Press. I've done a few iron-on's with the EP and so far everything's gone through washes and all are okay. Pressing pillows seem to be handy to lift the garment away from seams. Check out Lorrie Nunemaker on YouTube for how-to's on those. I'm anxious to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteThought about buying a steady betty but now I think I'll try this! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter what type of wood you use?
