Heidi Swapp Minc Machine {Video}

Hi Everyone,
Guess what I have....a video!!! Yeah!
Today I wanted to share a video on the Heidi Swapp Minc Machine. I'm in total love with this machine. Very popular right now is adding foil to your scrapbook pages, Project Life layouts, and cards. I know a lot of people use laminators to achieve this look. After watching Heidi's videos on You Tube and a few others I was convinced that this was the way to go.
One particular thing I like best is you can create your own looks by designing on your computer and then printing to a laser jet printer. I personally don't have one, but I do have access to one. You can always design and take your files to a copy center to have it printed.
Here is a video on my new fav for my craft room.

Watch Below | Watch on You Tube.

And here are a few photos of two projects I did using the ones I foiled...You can find the supplies I used for these two projects below.

Thanks Card

Hi everyone,
Sorry it's been so long, we've had a lot going on the past few weeks at work and then working on some home projects I didn't get in my craft room much.

Last week I made this Thanks card for someone that has been volunteering at the library. I thought the October Afternoon Public Library collection was a good pick to thank someone for helping at the library. {Supplies used for this project are listed below at the end of this blog post to multiple shopping sources)

I pulled out my Paper Trey Ink stamps for the library card and stamped it on to some cream colored card stock. I used October Afternoon's Public Library paper collection to die cut some paper with the PTI Spiral Notebook die. The "thanks" sentiment comes from a Simon Says Stamps die I've had in my stash for a while and haven't used :)

I also die cut a Fillable Frames PTI die to make the little topper on the library card that I then sewed with some white thread. To finish off the card I used Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Thanks again for stopping by and I've missed you all. Hope to be back soon with a normal blog routine :) Have a great day.

Thanks for everything

Hello, hello, hello!
Today's card is a thank you card I made just to play with a few new Mama Elephant scrappy items I picked up.
{Supplies used for this project are listed below at the end of this blog post to multiple shopping sources)

I started by die cutting some Aqua Mist Paper Trey Ink cardstock using the stitched die set from Mama Elephant and then some white cardstock using the smaller rectangle die from the set.

I stamped "Thanks for everything" using jet black archival ink and then the border piece with SU's Pool Party ink. To add a little detail to the card I added Doodlebug Sprinkle Enamel Dots to finish off the card.
