Hi Everyone,
Happy Monday :)
Did I mention how much fun I'm having with the Cricut Explore? I know I did...I just love this machine.

Today's video is a walk through of the features and buttons on the Design Space program. It is so easy and makes the process of designing flow smoothly. Here is a video on some basics of Design Space.
I can't wait for the Print and Cut feature to come out this week :)

Cricut Explore Unboxing Video

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Hi Everyone,
Today's video is the unboxing of my new Cricut Explore. When I purchased my Explore I also picked up a few accessories. The Bluetooth adaptor works great. I have my machine on one side of the room and my computer on the other. I also just heard that the Print then Cut feature will be coming out next week :) All of you with the Imagine Machine will be able now use your cartridges with the explore too.

I will have some tutorials coming soon but I did want to mention how excited I was when I logged into the Design Space Program to see all my cartridges I loaded to the Craft Room Program are automatically linked to Design Space. WooHoo so easy.

Since I opened the box a few days ago I can tell you I am in absolute love with this machine. The quality of cutting is amazing. Stay tuned for tutorial videos.

Stamp Class Photo

Tuesday, September 16, 2014

Hi Everyone,
We have a program at the library going on called Maker Monday and every week a new maker style project is done. I was asked to do a stamping class. It was so much fun and I had a very talented group to work with. Here is a photo that one of our librarians took of some of the finished cards.

We started off the class by stamping out images on some scrap paper to get the hang and feel of stamping. Then made some really simple cards with washi tape and a sentiment.

After that we played with making backgrounds (pattern paper) out of some of the smaller stamps.

Thanks everyone who came to my class. I really enjoyed it and you are all so very talented.

Just side note...Commenting is not working on my blog? Not sure what's going on but hope to get it fixes soon.

1st Cricut Explore Project

Monday, September 15, 2014

1st Cricut

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great weekend. Today I wanted to share my very first Cricut Explore Project. I picked up my Explore yesterday and jumped right in with playing. This card uses an image from the Create a Critter Cartridge. I have so many things I want to try out that I couldn't decide what to do first.

I'll be back soon with some videos and tutorials on how to use the Explore.
Have a great day everyone :)

The results are in and an update

Sunday, September 14, 2014

Hi Everyone,
WOW! almost 500 of you took the survey. Thank you so much. It's helped me tremendously. Before I get into the results I wanted to share my thoughts. I'm really surprised and I know I shouldn't be...but I'm surprised on how many of you still look for Cricut projects and tutorials. I know some of that information got lost in the shuffle here on the new blog, but I've been working on getting that updated. I've been trying to put a little time in each weekend and have gotten back to 2010 with sorting and making new categories. I still have lots more work to do, but this will at least help you find what you are looking for. On the right side of the blog you will see a drop-down menu called "Categories" that has all the new categories I've created. When you select one it will take you to posts on that particular subject. Under that is a section called "Cricut Projects and Tutorials." From there you'll see projects done by cartridge and tutorials. Again click on one of those options and it will take you to posts with that subject. I hope that helps you.

What do I have planned next you ask? Well after looking over the survey the two biggest requests are stamping and electronic die cutting. So here is the plan. Monday's I will post videos on electronic die cutting and Friday's are still reserved for Stampin' on Friday. I'll be working on new videos (hint hint...I picked up the Cricut Explore this weekend) and they will be coming to you very soon.

Now for the results of the survey.
